Two of our Consultants were awarded the distinction of “AAPC Fellow” in 2017. Additionally, the majority of our consultants are Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) through the Health Care Compliance Association. 

The firm’s compliance and coding expertise has been sought out by the Office of Inspector General (OIG), The Department of Justice (DOJ) and numerous legal firms to serve as expert witness, render opinions on suspected fraudulent billing, and assist with overpayment appeals. Acevedo Consulting also provides compliance guidance and serves as an Independent Review Organization (IRO) for several organizations while under Corporate Integrity Agreements (CIA).
