The Accademia Italiana is a private higher education institution in Italy that specializes in fashion, design, and photography, with campuses in Florence and Rome. Founded in 1984, it offers bachelor’s degree programs in these fields that are recognized by the Italian MIUR, and its Rome campus holds the same accreditation. In addition to MIUR-recognized degrees, it provides bachelor’s degrees from UK institutions, as well as master’s programs and short courses. It also runs integrated programs that enable a double academic award (MIUR diploma and UK bachelor's degree) and has launched intensive one-year programs in Fashion Merchandising and Retail Design. The school maintains international exchange arrangements with universities in the USA and other regions, along with affiliated programs in Asia. In recent years it has engaged in collaborations with industry partners, including events organized with McNeel Europe and KeyShot, such as the Rhino Jewelry User Meeting in Rome in 2023 and the KeyShot World Italia event in 2024.
