Şok Marketler T.A.Ş. is a Turkish retail company operating a nationwide network of discount supermarkets. Founded in 1995, the business rebuilt its concept after being acquired in 2011 by a consortium led by Gözde Girişim under Yıldız Holding, shifting toward offering a broad range of everyday goods at competitive prices. The stores provide a convenient shopping experience with clean, well-maintained environments and carry both well-known brands and private labels such as Mis, Piyale, Amigo, Mintax, and Evin. Customers primarily include households seeking accessible, near-by locations to purchase items across categories including fresh produce, deli, groceries, personal care, and cleaning products, with periodic non-food promotions aimed at value-conscious shoppers. Şok Marketler operates across Turkey, aiming to ensure a pleasant, affordable shopping experience for a large number of consumers in urban and suburban areas. The company is headquartered in Istanbul and serves a market characterized by discount retail competition, positioning itself alongside other major discount and hard-discount formats in the Turkish retail sector.
