Zen Peacemakers International is a small nonprofit in the civic and social sector, based in New York City, New York. It was founded by Zen Master Bernie Glassman and Jishu Holmes. The organization aims to support, inspire, train and mobilize a worldwide network of members and affiliates to pursue humanitarian, peace-building, social and civic action grounded in the Zen Peacemakers' three guiding tenets: Not Knowing, Bearing Witness, and Taking Action.
