MBE and SDBE Advantage YEI is a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Small Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (SDBE), which can be leveraged to pursue set-aside projects, supplier diversity programs, and collaborative opportunities with larger prime firms seeking diverse subcontractors.

Public Sector Footprint With extensive experience serving local, state, federal agencies, port authorities, flood control districts, and utility companies, there are clear entry points for expanding into current public sector contracts and securing RFPs that value engineering, electrical, mechanical, and fire and plumbing system expertise.

Broad Engineering Capabilities YEI offers a wide range of services beyond electrical and mechanical systems, including architectural, civil, structural engineering and energy analysis through subconsultants, enabling cross-selling to clients needing integrated design and analysis across multiple disciplines.

Technology Stack Alignment Utilization of industry tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, Drupal, Cloudflare, and Google Workspace positions YEI to engage in modern design-build, energy modeling, and data-enabled project delivery, which can be highlighted in proposals to win tech-forward public and private bids.

Scaled Growth Potential Revenue in the mid-range private sector shows room for scale alongside a lean 11-50 employee base; targeted bids with prime firms and larger agencies could unlock higher-value projects, while partnerships with larger engineering firms can provide scalable pathways for growth.
