WWF-France is the French arm of the World Wide Fund for Nature, a nonprofit organization dedicated to environmental protection. Based in Le Pré-Saint-Gervais in the Île-de-France region, it conducts around fifty field projects across France, prioritizing the Mediterranean and Alpine areas and extending to overseas territories such as French Guiana and New Caledonia. Its work is supported by a broad base of donors and volunteers, including more than 220,000 supporters and about 2,500 volunteers. Its stated purpose is to act promptly to protect the environment and advance conservation across its programs. In June 2026, WWF-France participated in discussions at VivaTech 2026's Sustainability Executive Summit, examining how data, predictive modeling and AI can help organizations anticipate climate risks and accelerate adaptation.
