The Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute at Stanford is a center for interdisciplinary neuroscience research, linking neuroscience with medicine, engineering, psychology, education, and law. It functions as a hub for discovery, engineering, and translational health work, with the aim of deepening brain understanding, developing treatments for brain disorders, and promoting brain health across the lifespan. The institute brings together more than 500 Stanford faculty affiliates from all seven schools and over 50 departments and continues to expand its interdisciplinary faculty, based in Stanford, California. It supports training programs and research fellowships for undergraduates, graduate students, and postdoctoral scholars to nurture the next generation of interdisciplinary neuroscience leaders. The institute foregrounds diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging as essential to scientific progress.
