World Justice Project is an independent, multidisciplinary organization based in Washington, DC that works to advance the rule of law worldwide by generating knowledge, raising awareness, and stimulating action. It produces data on the rule of law, including annual indices and analyses that illuminate the status of the rule of law across countries. With a mid-sized team, the organization conducts research, prepares reports, and conducts outreach related to rule-of-law benchmarks.

In 2024, it released the Rule of Law Index ranking 142 countries, continuing a program of annual assessments. It has also produced the Corruption in the Caribbean Report (2023), and at the 2025 World Justice Forum an award was presented by WJP Board Vice President Judy Perry Martinez.
