Since taking the ice in the 2017/18 season, the Worcester Railers HC have brought fast-paced professional hockey and family-friendly entertainment to Central Massachusetts as a proud member of the ECHL.

Playing at the DCU Center, the Railers are committed to building a winning culture on the ice while serving as a strong community partner throughout the region. The organization’s dedication to community impact has been recognized across the league, earning the ECHL Community Service Team of the Year Award five times. The Railers’ continued growth and innovation were further recognized during the 2024–25 season, when the organization received the ECHL Rising Star Award, given to the team that shows the most year-over-year growth in total revenue, including corporate and ticket sales, food and beverage, merchandise and attendance.
