Woodward Gallery is a private art venue located in New York City’s Lower East Side. Housed in a 5,000-square-foot, two-floor space, it offers rotating exhibitions on the main level and a more intimate viewing area for events and private appointments on the lower level, within walking distance of the New Museum of Contemporary Art. Since its founding in 1994, the gallery has focused on building private and corporate art portfolios drawn from Contemporary and Modern Masters, spanning artists from Picasso to Warhol and supported by its roster of gallery artists. Woodward Gallery maintains an inventory of works by Robert Indiana, Andy Warhol, Richard Hambleton, and Jean Michel Basquiat, and offers an extensive collection of limited-edition prints from 1980s New York East Village artists such as Richard Hambleton and Keith Haring, as well as from pop artists including Robert Indiana, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg, and Warhol. In March 2020, Woodward Gallery launched WashYourHands.art, a virtual exhibition platform updated with artistic contributions from around the world.
