Woningstichting Rochdale is a real estate organization that provides affordable, high-quality homes through social housing. It operates in Amsterdam and nearby municipalities, including Zaanstad, Purmerend, Diemen, and Landsmeer, and houses more than 80,000 people. Its origins trace back to 1903, when Pieter Roeland and Hendrik Glimmerveen—then a coachman and a conductor on the Amsterdam horse tram—founded a housing cooperative to shelter workers living in cellars and slums.

The organization primarily serves households with incomes up to 35,000 euros, with an option to allocate homes to families earning up to 39,000 euros within the social housing program. Its resident groups include families, students, youths, seniors, vulnerable populations, and those in urgent need. Based in Amsterdam in the North Holland region, Rochdale has pursued service innovations such as an October 2021 rollout of video contact for remote inspections at its Customer Contact Center, supported by 24sessions.
