Women's Rights Information Center is a small nonprofit based in Englewood, New Jersey, operating in the field of individual and family services. It focuses on helping women become independent, self-confident, and self-sufficient through programs covering career development, education, housing, legal assistance, and referrals. Each year, these programs assist more than 700 women who overcome economic and social barriers, with an additional group of about 800 connecting to services for domestic violence prevention, health care, and basic family needs. The center serves women and families facing challenges and relies on a growing network of business and individual supporters to broaden its reach. Within the nonprofit landscape, it positions itself to address multiple needs—safety, economic stability, and access to essential services—through its integrated program offerings. In 2026, WRIC planned to host its signature fundraising event, Celebrating Community Change Makers, at the Edgewood Country Club, highlighting ongoing community engagement.
