The vast majority of wind turbines today aren't able to adjust to wind changes and gusts until after winds arrive. That reduces energy production and the life of major components like gearboxes and blades. Available methods for providing wind preview alerts are very expensive and not widely deployed. Windscape AI will provide a 10x-20x breakthrough in cost and effectiveness with 15-60-second "nowcasts" of of actual wind changes enabling operators to optimize the turbines' pitch, yaw and torque settings for maximum energy capture and longer life. The result is greater revenue, project ROI and turbine life.
