WMed is a private nonprofit medical school in Kalamazoo, Michigan, formed through a collaboration between Western Michigan University and the region's two teaching health systems, Beacon Health and Bronson Healthcare. The school offers a four-year Doctor of Medicine program and two Master of Science degree programs in Biomedical Sciences and Medical Engineering, and it trains physicians in 10 residencies and five fellowships accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
