West Gate Family Therapy Institute trains new therapists in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy while simultaneously providing low-cost therapy services to the members of the Upstate community. We see individuals as well as couples and families. We serve clients of all ages and a variety of backgrounds. 

Marriage and Family Therapists are trained to diagnose and treat serious mental illness, and we also work with people who are experiencing variety of non-diagnosable issues. Some examples of this are: having a difficult time due to life changes (divorce, children moving out, new job, etc.), facing challenging life circumstances, or experiencing a traumatic event.
