Welink began in June 2013 as an initiative within Bouygues Construction to help women managers advance to leadership roles. Since 2018 the network has been open to all female colleagues across the Bouygues Group, positioning itself as a driver of cultural change and an advocate for construction careers for women. It now counts more than 560 members globally and runs networking, personal development activities, and conferences.

Welink is based in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, Yvelines, France, and operates within the construction industry. Its mission centers on supporting female professionals in Bouygues Group and promoting gender diversity as a strategic factor in performance and talent attraction.
