We focuse on the long-term sustainability of water and subsistence resources in Alaska for the benefit of fish and wildlife populations, habitat, aesthetics, recreation, and traditional and cultural activities, using the principles of democracy, environmental justice and sound ecology as our guide. In relation to water and subsistence resources, we:

• Conduct research, data collection and monitoring;
• Assist Native Alaskan Village and other communities with climate change adaption and resiliency planning;
• Conduct research and provide trainings, seminars and workshops related to policy regarding water and resource management, treaty rights, trust responsibility, consultation, human rights, soveriegnty, jurisdiction, TEK and climate change;
• Assist with advocacy and policy development through research and monitoring of agency actions;
• Conduct Trainings, seminars and workshops addressing Climate Change resiliency and adaption; and
• Assist with developing grant applications and funding searches for all of the above.
