Virgin Cruises is Virgin’s exciting new cruise line business based in South Florida. We'll make waves in the global cruising industry by redefining the cruising experience for good and offering both cruisers and non-cruisers an irresistible new way to travel. We’ll do everything from the hull up differently and set a new standard - not just for ocean voyages, but all travel. We want to fundamentally change the way people think about cruising, and how and when they spend their vacation time. Virgin Cruises plans to build three new beautiful mid-size ships with Italian shipyard Fincantieri. The ships will be approximately 110,000 gross tons each and are slated for delivery in 2020, 2021 and 2022. Each ship will host approximately 2,800 guests and 1,150 crew to deliver Virgin’s famous service. Our gorgeous first ship will sail from PortMiami in vibrant, dynamic Miami, the cruise capital of the world.
