Public Sector Partnerships The Village of Gurnee operates with a multi-department public service model and a focus on centralizing administrative, public safety, and utility functions. This indicates potential cross-department needs for integrated software, data analytics, and unified communication platforms that can streamline operations across Administration, Community Development, Police, Fire and Public Works.

Technology Modernization Current tech stack includes AWS, SCADA, ArcGIS, Adobe Experience Cloud, and SQL, suggesting openness to modernization, cloud services, data integration, and GIS-enabled citizen engagement. Opportunities exist for expanding cloud hosting, security enhancements, analytics, and digital service delivery tailored to municipal workflows.

Public Safety Focus With a dedicated Police and Fire services footprint and recent leadership change, there is likely ongoing attention to public safety technology, dispatch efficiency, incident management, and EMS modernization. Sales opportunities include CAD integrations, body-worn camera ecosystems, reporting analytics, and emergency communication improvements.

Budget & Funding Efficiency Operating revenue is in the mid-range for comparable municipalities, and there is a history of community investment programs and COVID recovery funding support. This signals potential for solutions that improve grant management, financial transparency, procurement efficiency, and ROI-driven technology deployments.

Community Engagement Active partnerships with local districts and events (e.g., parks collaboration, community programs) indicate a priority on resident-facing services and outreach. There is opportunity for citizen engagement platforms, online services, permit and licensing modernization, and digital communications to enhance public interaction.
