Victor Valley College is a public higher education institution based in Victorville, California, established in 1961. It is the largest publicly funded college in the Victor Valley, serving more than 15,000 students each semester and graduating about 3,000 annually. The college offers a broad array of academic and career training optionsโ25 degree programs and over 125 certificatesโand is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges. The nursing program has posted NCLEX pass rates around 88% since 2008, with more than 75% of graduates employed at local hospitals, and the FAA-approved Aviation School reports placement of graduates into full-time roles at local aviation companies. In 2012, the Victor Valley College Regional Public Safety Training Center opened in Apple Valley, consolidating Administration of Justice, Fire Technology, Emergency Medical Services, and Corrections programs to support cross-training for first responders. More recently, the college has pursued partnerships and community initiatives, including a 2026 Fine Arts, Animation and Music Experience and collaborations with local employers to support student success.
