VIA University College is Denmark's largest university college, operating across Central Jutland to provide a broad spectrum of higher education. Beyond more than 40 bachelor degree programmes, it delivers continuing education and lifelong learning initiatives across multiple disciplines, including health, social education, technology, design, business and animation. It serves about 18,000 students and employs roughly 2,000 staff across seven campuses. It ranks as the third-largest educational institution in Denmark and maintains international cooperation through partnerships with institutions around the world, supported by 18 Research Centres and participation in Erasmus-related activities. In May 2026, VIA expanded its offices to Copenhagen, with its Aarhus design programmes moving to a new premises in Sydhavnen.
