Vermont Coffee Company is a small, locally based roaster in Middlebury, Vermont, with a mission centered on fostering community and friendship through coffee. The company uses a slow, small-batch roasting process that develops its bold flavors, caramelizing the beans to bring out semi-sweet chocolate notes. All of its coffee beans are 100% certified organic and sourced from diverse growing regions worldwide. Since 2018, the roasting operations have been powered by 100% renewable energy.

The company’s coffee is sold in Northeast chain grocers such as Hannaford’s, Market Basket, Shaw’s and Costco, and is also available nationwide through its online store, along with a physical Vermont Coffee Company Café in Middlebury. In 2021, Stonewall Kitchen, LLC acquired Vermont Coffee Company.
