Ventura College is an accredited two-year institution of higher education serving the seaside community of Ventura, California, a role it has held since 1925. The campus covers about 112 acres and supports roughly 14,500 students. It sits about 60 miles north of Los Angeles and 30 miles south of Santa Barbara. The college has broadened its offerings to include professional and technical programs, including a Veterinary Technology associate degree launched in 2021 and awarded initial accreditation by the AVMA in 2022.
