VCTV is Vassar College’s student-led hub for video production, filmmaking education, and film events. We create engaging entertainment that spans multiple genres and formats, from documentaries to short films to music videos. The group was created to give Vassar students a head start in film production and to foster a collaborative community of filmmakers. Our team includes writers, producers, directors, editors, actors, and everything in between. VCTV traces its origins back to 1986 and is still going strong. We produce several video projects yearly, lend camera equipment for individual projects, lead workshops on filmmaking basics, and each semester host the VCTV Film Fest.
