In the early 1990s, a nationally known and well-respected New York City dermatologist specializing in psoriasis treatment, as well as vitiligo and eczema, saw our patented folding design.  He was so impressed with the revolutionary design that he suggested it would be the perfect model for Clinical phototherapy treatments as well as home use light therapy treatments.  With his continued professional input, UVBioTek™ developed medical UVB equipment and listed them with the FDA.
