Established in 1954, UVA Community Credit Union is one of Central Virginia’s largest locally-owned financial institutions with over 76,000 members.  We are a not-for-profit financial institution. We're not driven to turn a profit at the expense of those who use our services. We don't have stockholders.  We don’t issue stock or pay dividends to outside stockholders. Instead, earnings are returned to our members in the form of lower loan rates, higher dividends on deposits and lower fees.  

Our sole mission is to help improve the financial well-being of our members. We exist to educate, encourage and empower. It’s the credit union difference of people helping people.
