Usher's New Look is a nonprofit organization founded in 1999 by Usher Raymond IV and based in Atlanta, Georgia. It certifies and develops youth across four leadership pillars—talent, education, career, and service—to prepare them as global leaders. The program begins in 7th or 8th grade and follows participants through college or into full-time careers, with a peer-to-peer structure in which students who advance through the program also mentor their peers. Since its establishment, the program has trained more than 42,000 youth across eight countries, and outcomes include high school graduation, college enrollment, and leadership confidence—specifically, all graduates finish high school, 98% advance to college, and 86% are first-generation college students. In 2024, Usher's New Look partnered with IBM to provide AI-focused career training and professional skills through IBM's SkillsBuild platform, reflecting collaboration to broaden opportunities for youth.
