The US-China Business Council (USCBC) is a private, nonpartisan nonprofit association representing more than 270 American companies engaged in business with China. It serves as a resource and forum to help members navigate bilateral trade policy and commercial issues arising from the U.S.–China relationship. Its membership includes major consumer brands, professional services firms, and small- and medium-sized enterprises. USCBC is headquartered in Washington, DC, with offices in Beijing and Shanghai, and it was founded in 1973. The organization operates within the international trade and development sector, focusing on issues relevant to U.S. companies doing business in China. In 2023, USCBC released the U.S. Exports to China report, which highlights China as a major destination for U.S. goods and services exports.
