UpField Group is a Chicago-based organization that oversees consulting, financial advisory, and investment activities across the ag, food, sustainability, and sports sectors. Its consulting arm, Upfield Consulting, has 17 years of experience and focuses on growth strategy and the evolution of sustainable food systems, addressing topics such as equitable food systems, on-farm practices, renewable energy adoption, carbon reduction, sustainable nutrition, and the commercialization of new products. Upfield Financial provides financial advisory services to banks, private equity, and corporate finance, with a track record in financial due diligence for middle-market companies and a network of lenders and corporate relationships, led by co-founder Chad Ward. Upfield Capital pursues investments ranging from passive holdings to full acquisitions, targeting innovative, socially responsible companies addressing challenges in its focus markets. In September 2022, UpField Group participated in the Northwest Ohio Ag Business Breakfast Forum as a keynote speaker.
