The University of Lausanne is a higher education and research institution located in Lausanne, in the canton of Vaud, western Switzerland. It comprises seven faculties and educates about 14,000 students with 2,800 researchers. The university concentrates on Medicine, Life Sciences, Geosciences, Environment, Business, Humanities, and Social Sciences, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration among students, teaching staff, and professors.
