It comprises four main campuses—CU Boulder, UCCS, CU Denver, and the Anschutz Medical Campus—serving students and communities across the state and maintaining a large alumni network that numbers close to half a million, with about 15,000 new alumni each year. CU Boulder pursues wide-ranging research and education, including arctic archaeology, classroom improvements, and collaboration with NASA, and it is a member of the Association of American Universities. Across the system, partnerships with major corporations and federal agencies support education and workforce development; CU Denver concentrates on master's degrees with strengths in business, engineering, public affairs, computer science, art and digital media, and sustainability, while UCCS emphasizes residential, research-oriented education in southern Colorado, and the Anschutz Medical Campus serves as a biomedical hub with affiliated hospitals and health sciences programs.
