Universiti Malaysia Kelantan is a public higher education institution based in Bachok, Kelantan, Malaysia. Established in 2006 as the 19th public university in the country, it remains the sole full university in Kelantan. Its curriculum centers on entrepreneurship education, reflected in the taglines Entrepreneurial University and Entrepreneurship Is Our Thrust. The university focuses on three core study areas: Business and Entrepreneurship, Creative Technology and Heritage, and Agro-Industry and Natural Resources; language and generic skills are also emphasized. UMK aims to develop graduates with an entrepreneurial mindset to support SMEs and contribute to community development, leveraging information and communications technology as an enabling tool. In addition to its academic programs, the institution pursues partnerships with external organizations, such as a 2026 collaboration with Pet World International.
