Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (UAI) is a private Chilean university rooted in business education. It was established in 1988 on the foundation of the Valparaiso Business School, which traces back to 1953, and operates under the Adolfo Ibáñez Foundation. The institution is accredited nationally by CNAP and internationally by AACSB and AMBA, and it is based in Santiago, in the Santiago Metropolitan Region, Chile. As a higher education institution, UAI serves students and researchers through academic programs and research in its business-administration tradition. A recent development is a partnership announced in April 2026 with TEDIC Paraguay to expand comparative analysis of platform work in Paraguay, coordinated by UAI with researchers from several Latin American countries.
