United Animal Health is a Sheridan, Indiana-based company founded in 1956, originally operating as United Feeds. It provides research-based nutrition and health solutions for animal agriculture, offering livestock products through its own brand and affiliate brands with a global footprint. From its beginnings in a single room, it has grown into a mid-sized organization with hundreds of employees, prioritizing close engagement with customers to understand their needs and help them succeed.

In the farming industry, the company positions itself as a provider of science-driven solutions that support herd health and productivity across markets worldwide. A recent notable development involved United Animal Health’s participation in the World Pork Expo in June 2026, where it awarded the 2026 John B. Swisher Leadership Award to Robert Goodband in recognition of his contributions to the swine sector.
