UM Shore Regional Health is a regional, nonprofit health care system providing hospital and related medical services on Maryland's Eastern Shore. It was formed on July 1, 2013 through the consolidation of Shore Health and Chester River Health, creating a regional medical delivery network for the Mid-Shore area. The network includes UM Shore Medical Centers in Easton, Dorchester, and Chestertown, the UM Shore Emergency Center in Queenstown, and a nursing and rehabilitation center in Chestertown. Based in Easton, the organization serves five counties—Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne’s, and Talbot—by coordinating inpatient, emergency, and rehabilitative care. In early 2023, LuAnn Brady was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, reflecting ongoing leadership changes within the system.
