UiT The Arctic University of Norway is a public higher education and research institution based in Tromsø, Northern Norway. It operates across seven faculties that provide a broad range of study programs, with a particular focus on northern issues and regional relevance. Teaching is grounded in research, and the university hosts a large international community, with significant participation from overseas staff and students, and a wide offering of English-taught degrees at bachelor and master's levels. UiT is a founding member of the University of the Arctic, a circumpolar network, and maintains extensive international collaboration through hundreds of agreements that enable student and staff exchanges worldwide.
