The foundation serves K-12 students and educators, aiming to support accessible, hands-on STEAM education and to broaden participation in creative problem-solving activities.

Established as a 501(c)(3) organization, it positions itself within the broader network of education-focused nonprofit and maker initiatives, collaborating with partner programs and participating in recognized maker communities. The organization is based in Los Angeles, California, and has reported activities and partnerships over the years, including participation in awards programs and collaborations to provide STEAM resources and online projects to students. In early 2025, the organization received recognition for its work through the Infy Maker Award, reflecting its ongoing role in promoting creative STEM education.
