Tufts JumboCode is a student-run software development organization affiliated with Tufts University, based in Medford, Massachusetts. It develops customized technology and software for nonprofit and federal organizations at no charge, addressing the needs of groups navigating an increasingly digital world. To ensure high-quality service, the team forms cross-functional groups of programmers, designers, and entrepreneurs, each supported by a project manager and a technical lead and guided by agile practices throughout projects. The Executive Board oversees club operations and client relationships as the organization develops in the Greater Boston area. It provides Tufts undergraduates with hands-on software development experience while delivering free technology solutions for nonprofit and public-sector clients.
