The Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University is a graduate and professional school focused on nutrition research and education. Founded in 1981 and located in Boston, Massachusetts, it aims to improve nutritional well-being worldwide by generating new knowledge, disseminating evidence-based information, and training future leaders in the field. The school brings together clinical nutrition, social and public policy, and biomedical science, with faculty drawn from disciplines such as biomedicine, economics, epidemiology, medicine, political science, and psychology. Programs comprise eight degree tracks for master's and doctoral study, three science department programs, four policy programs, a blended online-residency master's program in Boston, and four online graduate certificates. It serves a student body of over 200, including representatives from 34 countries, and is the only graduate and professional school of nutrition in North America.
