TransitMatters is an advocacy group focused on improving transit in and around Boston. It brings together transit advocates, educates riders, and promotes a level of critical analysis that is often missing from media coverage. It advocates for plans and policies that make transportation more convenient and effective for everyone.

The organization has outlined six high-impact initiatives to enhance the MBTA experience for riders, including Night Bus, Regional Rail, NextGen Bus, Fair Fares, Mobility Hubs, and the Red-Blue Connector.
