The Town of Chili is a local government entity in Monroe County, New York, located in the Rochester region with administration centered in Churchville. It spans about 39.7 square miles and includes a mix of suburban areas north of Black Creek and rural areas to the south, supporting a population in the mid-20,000s. The town provides a broad array of recreational and cultural resources, including eight town parks, a county park, two museums, a disc golf course, a public nature area, two semi-private golf courses, and two boat launches on the Genesee River and Black Creek, with performing arts offerings in the hamlet of North Chili. 

The town has experienced steady growth in population and economic development, with a 10 percent population rise from 1990 to 2000 and a $70 million increase in the tax base during 2000–2001, and education is provided through four central school districts: Churchville-Chili, Gates-Chili, Wheatland-Chili, and Caledonia-Mumford. In July 2024, the town announced a partnership with National Fitness Campaign LLC to bring a Fitness Court to Chili, reflecting ongoing investments in public amenities.
