Theatre Centre is a performing arts organization based in Crawley, England, that commissions new writing and tours directly to schools and theatres across the UK. Founded in 1953 by Brian Way and Margaret Faulks, it has seven decades of activity focused on youth leadership and creativity, commissioning 108 writers and producing 237 plays. Its work has reached audiences of more than a million and has engaged over 250,000 young people through a broad range of projects. Through initiatives like Future Makers, the organization brings together young people, artists, and teachers as creative collaborators and supports talent development on their own terms. In December 2025, Theatre Centre announced a partnership with Makers of Imaginary Worlds to collaborate on The Garden project.
