The Reagan Legacy Foundation is a mid-sized nonprofit based in Van Nuys, California. It focuses on advancing Ronald Reagan's core beliefs and memorializing the achievements of his presidency, with particular emphasis on individual liberty and democracy. In 2008 it launched a global youth education initiative, including the opening of a permanent Reagan exhibit at the Checkpoint Charlie Museum in Berlin in 2009. In 2010 the Foundation began the Liberty Education Tours, a student-exchange program designed to teach future leaders about the principles of liberty by studying Reagan and other historic figures at sites of freedom in the United States and abroad. Reagan Leadership Program and Museum at Eureka College. It honors service members attached to the USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) by offering scholarships to sailors, airmen, and their families.
