The Pathfinder Network is a mid-sized nonprofit based in Portland, Oregon, focused on supporting justice system–impacted individuals and their families. Since its inception in 1993, the organization has broadened from a single contractor role with the Oregon Department of Corrections to a multifaceted provider delivering evidence-based, culturally and trauma-responsive programs in corrections and community settings, reaching more than 40,000 people to date. Its work spans through correctional facilities and community services, emphasizing approaches that address gender and trauma as part of rehabilitation and reintegration. 

In corrections, it offers programs such as Parenting Inside Out and cognitive-behavioral curricula, along with trauma coping skills groups, administered through ODOC. In community and reentry contexts, it runs transition supports for individuals leaving jail or entering probation, as well as a Center for Family Success in East Multnomah County that provides no-cost services including parenting, home visiting, advocacy, mentoring, and reentry support. A notable recent development is the 2026 launch of A Secret Chord, an anthology of poetry, stories, and art by systems-impacted youth.
