The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) is a nonprofit, interdisciplinary undergraduate honor society that recognizes high academic achievement among students in their first two years of college. Founded in 1994 at The George Washington University, it operates across nearly 300 college chapters and has a lifetime member network exceeding 1.5 million. Members have access to scholarships, internship and study abroad opportunities, webinars, and exclusive discounts, along with a nationwide network of fellow scholars. NSCS is based in Washington, District of Columbia, and is registered as a 501(c)3 nonprofit certified by the Association of College Honor Societies. In 2025, NSCS expanded its collaborations with LifeRamp and conducted a survey of more than 600 students, reflecting ongoing partnerships to support members, with GEICO having previously supported diversity-focused scholarships.
