The Maryland Theatre is a historic performing arts venue in Hagerstown, Maryland, housed in a building completed in 1915 and designed by architect Thomas Lamb. The 1,300-seat main auditorium hosts a range of live performances, including country acts, comedy, orchestra concerts, children's shows, and plays, and serves as the home for the Maryland Symphony Orchestra, the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts, the City Ballet School, and the Miss Maryland Scholarship Pageant. The venue welcomes about 100,000 visitors annually. In 2019, the Performing Arts Center expansion added 30,000 square feet across four levels, increasing the venue's capacity to host private events such as fundraisers, business seminars, wedding ceremonies and receptions, and corporate gatherings. In 2022, The Maryland Theatre established a partnership with Krumpesdonuts (Krumpe's Do-nuts), reflecting a community collaboration; the venue functions as a small-to-mid-sized regional performing arts venue anchoring the Arts & Entertainment district.
