The Maryland Multi-Housing Association (MMHA) is a professional nonprofit trade association serving Maryland’s multi-housing sector since 1996. Its membership spans owners and managers of more than 178,000 rental housing units across over 700 apartment communities, plus more than 35,000 condominium and homeowners associations and more than 230 associate members that supply goods and services. The organization supports its members through education, information and legislative and advocacy services intended to uphold professional standards and enable effective operation within the community. In this way MMHA functions as a resource for industry-wide guidance and collective problem-solving. MMHA is based in Ellicott City, Maryland, with offices at 11155 Dolfield Boulevard. Recent developments include recognition by the American Society of Association Executives with a Power of Associations Silver Award for its Leasing Training Academy initiative, announced in July 2025.
