The Landings Association is a nonprofit corporation based in Savannah, Georgia, formed to promote the health, safety, and welfare of residents on Skidaway Island. In practical terms, it functions like a municipal government for owners of record in covenanted properties, encompassing about 8,500 residents. Membership provides access to a range of shared amenities, including two deep-water marinas, athletic facilities, a dog park, a recycling center, a native plant and nature trail, storage facilities, and the Sunset Pavilion. The association administers 715 acres of common property and related features, such as 313 center islands/medians, 151 lagoons totaling 269 acres, 91 miles of roads and 30 miles of community paths and trails (22 paved), 11 bridges, and 7 gated entrances. Operations are supported by a resident volunteer network and a professional staff, with a fleet of vehicles, heavy equipment, watercraft, and 11 facilities, guided from its Savannah office.
