The Independent Pharmacy is a leading UK online pharmacy & online doctor that offers a range of medicines, treatments & professional advice for medical conditions. 

We are a CQC and GPhC registered online service providing more than 980 prescription and non-prescription treatments for more than 80 different medical conditions.

The Independent Pharmacy is run by a team of experienced healthcare professionals based in Bristol, UK. It is owned and operated by two UK pharmacists, Andy Boysan & Scott McDougall, who founded and run The Independent Pharmacy based on years of industry experience.

Andy and Scott have witnessed first-hand the inefficiencies of modern day pharmacies and grew determined to help patients access reliable sources of medicines and the medical advice they needed, more easily.

They wanted to use technology to increase patients’ access to reliable sources of medicines and advice, safe in the knowledge that they’ll be dealing only with qualified UK pharmacists & doctors. In 2013 they realised that idea and created The Independent Pharmacy.

At the Independent Pharmacy we are registered with, governed & inspected by a number of organisations in the UK to ensure that we provide the highest quality care to our customers. Our Online Pharmacy is regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), registered with the National Pharmaceutical Association (NPA) and has been licenced by the NHS to provide prescriptions online. 

The Independent Pharmacy is also regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to ensure we offer the highest level of care to our patients when they buy medicine online. You can see our credentials and check them in the footer of every page on our website.
