The Center for Arts at the Armory is a non-profit arts venue based in Somerville, Massachusetts, housed in a historic Armory building and serving the Greater Boston community through arts programming, cultural events, markets, exhibitions, and classes. Since the Armory was repurposed as a community arts center in 2008, it has been the anchor tenant, operating the Performance Hall and Cafe and presenting more than 750 events annually across disciplines including music, dance, theater, literary and visual arts, film, circus, and comedy. The center runs several signature programs, including The Spotlight Series, The Performance Opportunity Program (POP), The Somerville Winter Farmers Market, and ROOTED Armory Cafe Visual Arts Exhibitions. Beyond presenting its own programming, the organization provides free or accessible venues for performing arts, cultural, and community groups in Greater Boston, with spaces available for private rentals. In October 2023, The Center for Arts at the Armory announced the appointment of Gary Stoloff to its Board of Directors.
